- Description
- The Broadcasting Board of Governors, International Broadcasting Bureau, (BBG/IBB) intends to award a non-competitive contract to Dalet in accordance with 41 USC 253 (c) (1), other than full and open competition pursuant to FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the governments requirements." Dalet is the only firm capable of providing support for the existing Digital Asset Management and Newsroom Computer System (DAMS/NRCS), e.g. including the capability to modify existing proprietary software for automatic distribution of playback containers. This contract will include support to maintain the DAMS/NRCS system and renewing/updating required licenses. FOB Destination - Washington, DC. A Firm-Fixed Price contract will be awarded for a performance period of one year with four options to continue the annual support of the DAMS/NRCS. Interested firms or persons may identify their interest and capability to perform the above services by submitting their capabilities statements to the Contracting Officer listed for this procurement. All such capability statements for consideration must be received by the Government by 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on December 21, 2017. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this Notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received from interested firms responding to this notice must be sufficient in detail to afford evaluation without added submission as the information submitted will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
