Description
Market Survey - Sources Sought SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a sources sought notice only; it is not a request for competitive proposals. US Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of performing Design Build construction services for Blood Donor Center Replacement, Fort Gordon, GA. DESCRIPTION: Design and Construct a replacement blood processing center. This project will provide blood collection, processing, testing, storage and shipping of blood products. Supporting facilities include utilities, utility connection fees, site improvements, access road and parking. The existing blood donor facilities (Buildings BDC 001 and 25712) will be abated of hazardous materials and demolished. Building 40001 will be returned to the installation. The project will be designed in accordance with Unified Facilities Criteria UFC 4-510-01, DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings UFC 4-010-01, barrier-free design in accordance with DoD, "ABA (Architectural Barriers Act) Accessibility Standard" and DEPSECDEF Memorandum "Access for People with Disabilities" dated 10/31/2008, Evidence Based Design principles, MHS World Class Checklist able Building Requirements UFC 1-200-02. Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Enhanced Commissioning, and Design During Construction will be provided. NAICS: 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction (Size Standard $36.5M) CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this construction project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. SUBMISSION: All interested contractors with 236220 as an approved NAICS code should respond to the attached survey by email to andrew.k.page@usace.army.mil no later than 24 November 2017 at 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Responses must include identification and verification of the company's small business status and a completed Market Survey Questionnaire, which is provided as an attachment to this solicitation.
