Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Contracting Department, Norfolk VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract to provide IMAG video projection services for the United States Air Force Band, Washington, DC. The procurement is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12, using Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 512110 � Motion Picture and Video Production with a size standard of $32.5 Million. Questions should be submitted directly to the Contract Specialist, Shannon Davis no later than Friday, 17 November 2017 at 5:00 PM EST to allow sufficient time response time prior to the solicitation closing date. The period of performance is required to start no later than 06 December 2017. Vendor is required to submit their quote in writing directly to the Contract Specialist, Shannon Davis at shannon.davis@navy.mil no later than Tuesday, 21 November 2017 at 11:00 AM EST. The Government requests an all or none Firm Fixed Price quote for IMAG video projection services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Price quotes will be due on the closing date of subject RFQ and must be held firm for thirty (30) days. NOTE: Only electronic submissions shall be accepted. Hand-carried or faxed quotes will not be accepted. A complete Request for Quotation (RFQ) package will be available for downloading at the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) Website: https://www.neco.navy.mil on or about 15 November 2017. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Please direct all questions regarding this requirement via e-mail to the POC identified in this synopsis. The NECO website has a �Submit Bid � button next to the solicitation number.
