- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b)(2)(1) this notice is issued for the purpose of market research. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are potential SMALL BUSINESSES with the capabiities and experience to perform the required work. THIS NOTICE IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS AN INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) OR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). The information received will be used to determine whether to issue the proposed solicitation as a competitive set-aside or full and open competition (unrestricted). The extent of work will be described in the solicitation at a later date. PROJECT INFORMATION : The work involves construction servicdes to replace the existing fire alarm systems in Building 533, Recreation Building 538, Vocation Building 545, Building 555, and Building 558 with new addressable fire alarm systems in Administration/Education Building 534 and Vocations/Warehouse Building 535. Also included in the work is the replacement of the existing wet pipe sprinkler in Building 545. All buildings are located at the Roswell Job Corps Center. SOURCES SOUGHT PERTINENT INFORMATION PERTINENT FACTORS FOR CONSIDERATION OF QUALIFICATION (IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE ) 1. Previous projects of similar scope and value: A. Contractor has completed two or more multi-building fire alarm system and wet pipe sprinkler system replacement projects located on operating campuses with a $500,000 to $1M constructed value within the last five years. Contractors shall have also completed a minimum of one project including hazardous materials within the last five years. Provide previous project examples that include the location of the project (City and State), the project owner, and a brief and concise description of project scope. 2. Project Location: A. Contractor has completed three or more construction project S in the region of the country twhere the project is located in the last five years indicating familiarity with local conditions and subcontracting community. 3. Cost Control, project schedule, safety, and quality of work: A. Contractor has a proven record of excellent performance by completing projects on or ahead of time. Using the previous project examples including the Contract Award/NTP date, the original contract completion date, and the actual contract completion date for each project. B. Contractor has a proven record of excellent performance by reducing cost and completing projects on or below budget. Using the previous project examples, indicate the contrac award amount, the final contract value, and a percentage of change order value relative to the total construction value for each project. C. General Contractor has established Safety and Quality Control procedures and protocols which are consistently applied to all projects. No solicitation document exists at this time. A determination by the Government to proceed with the acquisition as a set-aside is within the discretion of the Gvernment.
