Description
This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE is to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide ALL INCLUSIVE service and maintenance on Hobart/Aeroworks/Champion/and Douglas branded dishwashers and equipment located at C.W. Bill Young (Bay Pines) VA Medical Center as described in the attached, draft statement of work (SOW). Respondents are invited to provide feedback and responses via e-mail to Kevin Pendleton, Contracting Officer, at kevin.pendleton@va.gov. Responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Evaluation of Quotes: The Government will evaluate the following: Delivery, obsolescence and service plan, and price. Award and Selection: Following receipt of quotes, the Government will perform an evaluation using a comparative analysis of the products/services quoted. The Government will compare quotes to one another to select the product/service that best benefits the government by fulfilling the requirement. The evaluation of Government requirements outlined in this notice will determine suitability. The Government anticipates selecting the source that represents the best benefit to the government and the price can be determined reasonable. Contractors may submit more than one quote; however, contractors are strongly encouraged to submit their best technical solutions and prices in response to this notice. Once the Government determines there is/are a contractor(s) that can provide a product/service that meet the requirements of this notice, the government reserves the right to communicate with only those contractors quoting the best-suited product/service to address any remaining issues. The intended contract period of performance is a one (1) year base period plus four (4), one-year option periods (5 year totals). How does your firm handle equipment, parts, and materials obsolescence issues for your customers? Provide a brief capability statement (maximum of two (2) page), it should include supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate your firm is an authorized service provider for the equipment identified in this requirement. The capabilities statement for this Sources Sought Notice is not expected to be a Request for Quotations (RFQ), Request for Proposals (RFP) or Invitation for Bids (IFB), nor does it restrict the government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather the government is requesting a short statement regarding the company's ability to provide the services outlined in the draft SOW below. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. Submission of capabilities statement will assist our office in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry standards. The capabilities will be evaluated solely for the purposes of determining the acquisition strategy. Other than small businesses may respond to this notice in the event the market does not indicate small business interest. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. The government will not pay for the requested information. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform all the services within the SOW are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 12:00 PM (noon) on November 24, 2017.
