Description

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE The VA Central Iowa Health Care System (VACIHCS) has a need for Part-Time Interventional Radiologist Physician services to provide On-Call services at the Des Moines VA Medical Center. Services will be performed within the vicinity of the VACIHCS, 3600 30th Street, Des Moines, IA 50310. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 62111 Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists), with a size standard of $11.0 million. It is anticipated that the solicitation number will be 36C26318R0021. The solicitation is set aside for Small Business (SB). Offerors will be evaluated on Technical Capability, Past Performance, and Price. Procurement is being made in accordance with FAR Parts 12 Commercial Item and 15 Negotiated Contracts. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12-month base year with four (4) 12-month options to renew. The anticipated period of performance for the base year will be 02/19/2018 through 02/18/2019. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about November 22, 2017 and will be issued via FedBizOpps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Once the solicitation has been posted, questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing and may be sent via email to: scott.hendrix@va.gov. Proposals must be submitted to the issuing office, be in accordance with the preparation / proposal submittal instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely.
