- This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources, small and other than small businesses, to perform a potential requirement. Respondents are required to be registered and in good standing in The System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/#1 Purpose and Objectives: Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. NAICS code: 811219 and sized standard is $20.5M. NOTE: Respondent claiming SDVOSB and VOSB status must be registered and Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) verified in VetBiz Registry www.vetbiz.gov. Project requirements: To provide Full Service, Maintenance Service for Siemens Apogee System. This includes providing loaner endoscopes if required. See Description of Services Section. Anticipated period of performance: 11/17/2017 - 11/16/2018 plus two (2) one-year options. Information sought: Response to this announcement shall not exceed 10 pages and should include the following information: (1) A tailored capability statement indicating the firm s ability to provide the services required in the Description of Service Section. Include any certifications/qualifications for accomplishing maintenance on the Siemens Apogee System listed and any authorization to service this system on Siemens company letterhead; (2) The respondents DUNS number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, small, etc,) pursuant to the applicable NAICS code; (3) Information should be provided electronically in a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF format. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s). Description of Services Maintenance Services for Siemens Apogee System 1. Title: Provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to maintain, upgrade and repair SIEMENS Apogee building management system at THE SAM RAYBURN MEMORIAL VETERANS CENTER, 1201 E 9TH ST, BONHAM, TX 75418 2. Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide the following services: Server and workstation replacement: REPLACE Apogee energy management server once every three (3) Years. Provide and install one (1) new server with Desigo software and one (1) new server with Apogee in 2018. Replace two (2) energy management work stations, once every three (3) Years. Replace one laptop with Wi-Fi and one color printer ONCE EVERY three (3) years. Replacements shall be completed in 2018. Firmware Updates. Provide firmware and documentation updates to APOGEE field panels AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE TO REMAIN CURRENT. (Upgrades to Field Panel hardware, processors, memory boards, and related hardware are excluded unless specified elsewhere.) Field Panel Upgrades. Provide with firmware and documentation updates to APOGEE field panels as they BECOME AVAILABLE to remain current. (Upgrades to Field Panel hardware, processors, memory boards, and related hardware are excluded unless specified elsewhere.) Replace two (2) FLNC s with PXC s. Software Updates. Contractor will provide VA with software and documentation updates to existing APOGEE software as they become available (approximately annually). Include is onsite training to familiarize staff with the new features and their associated benefits. APOGEE workstations covered under this service are itemized in the List of Maintained Equipment. Contractor will load all software to provide remote connectivity with a to Siemens Building Technologies cRSP DMZ with a host, fixed IP address, creating an encrypted VPN tunnel between the target and the cRSP DMZ. Siemens Insight Software (Apogee and Desigo) and Siemens controllers (PXC / MBC/ TEC's) firmware are propriety solutions support by Siemens Industry, branch offices. On site technician time: Provide factory Trained Technicians at Journeymen level to respond to routine and emergency calls during normal and after hours. This shall include weekends and holidays Contractor will provide a Siemens technician on site to make any repairs, modifications or training for a total of 108 hours per year. 3. Background: This maintenance contract is need to maintain the SIEMENS Apogee building management system with up-to-date firmware and software and ensure efficient safe operation of the building environments in support of patient care. 4. Anticipated Performance Period: Period of coverage is November 17, 2017 through November 16, 2018 plus two (2) option years. 5. Classroom Training: Three (3) VA employees shall be provided four (4) days of training at the Siemens Training Center in Dallas.
