- Description
- NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Bahrain intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a DPMA Ship-Repair effort for a US Navy Patrol Coastal (PC) Class Vessel. This requirement is restricted to contractors who can offer a pier side dry-docking facility within the country of Kingdom of Bahrain. The requirement consists of 86 repair work items. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR 15, Contracting by Negotiation procedures. Pursuant to FAR 5.202 (a) (12), this is a non-mandatory synopsis. This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in the Kingdom of Bahrain as prescribed by DFARS 225.1103 (3). This is a 100% full and open competition with geographical limited within the Kingdom of Bahrain. This non-commercial acquisition will be full and open competition with a geographical restriction. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) codes is J998. This acquisition will result in a single award for all the work items. System for Award Management -. By submission of a bid, the bidder acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. If the bidder does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered bidder. Bidders may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the SAM database accessed through https://www.sam.gov. Offeror's questions must be submitted to the Contracting Officer (gary.hall@me.navy.mil) and the Contract Specialist (jesintha.dsouza.in@me.navy.mil) in writing. All questions concerning this acquisition must be submitted by 16 November 2017, 10:00 AM Bahrain local time. Questions will be answered via an amendment posted on FedBizOpps. Questions are to be submitted to gary.hall@me.navy.mil and Jesintha.dsouza.in@me.navy.mil. The due date for submission of proposal is on 26 November 2017 at 1000 hours (10:00AM local Bahrain time). The proposal receipt time will be strictly enforced.
