Description
On 16 August 2017, the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) hosted an Industry Day at its NSWCCD West Bethesda, Maryland location. The Government released an announcement for this event on Federal Business Opportunities on 24 July 2017 (reference: N00167-17-Propulsor_Industry_Day). Since the Industry Day event, firms, who attended the event, asked follow-up questions. NSWCCD wants to ensure firms, who were eligible to attend industry day but did not attend, have an opportunity to receive to these questions as well as the Government's answer to those questions. To be eligible to receive the questions and answers, interested firms must submit the following information to Michael Peduto at micahel.peduto@navy.mil, Frank Jurado at frank.jurado@navy.mil, and Bruce Baumgarten at bruce.baumgarten@navy.mil : •· - A current and approved DD Form 2345, Military Critical Data Agreement •· - Email or letter by an authorized company official to certify that the information provided to the firm will not be released outside the firm without written approval by both Code 807 and the Procuring Contracting Officer for NSWCCD (Michael Peduto) Once the interested firm provides the information and the information is validated by NSWCCD, the firm will be added to the email chain used by NSWCCD to respond to questions from the industry day participants. Additionally, the validated firm will receive the questions and responses that NSWCCD provided to date via email. This is not a request for information and the Government will not reimburse the contractor for any costs incurred associated with its review and/or use of the information provided. The Government answers are based what is known at the time of its response and that information is subject to change. To be clear, industry is cautioned that the information may change and the Government is not under any obligation to notify industry if the information changes over time.
