- Description
- Page 1 of 1 Pre-Solicitation notice only New Mexico VA Health Care System requests information for onsite unscheduled repairs and scheduled preventative maintenance services by a service vendor with access to Eaton s proprietary (copyrighted) service software and repair documentation is required to maintain numerous UPS systems that support mission critical medical equipment throughout the hospital. The potential failure of UPS systems at NMVAHCS exposes mammography systems, MRI scanners, CT scanners, nuclear medicine cameras, the PET/CT system, cardiac catheterization lab systems, interventional angiography systems, and medical servers to damage and failure due to changes in the supplied utility power to the systems. Required services include unscheduled onsite repairs, scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) services for UPS systems, associated battery cabinets and/or packs, and replacement of batteries. Vendors must have a current Eaton service contract for access to Eaton s proprietary information. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice does not commit the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will be restricted to this information to match information to a possible solicitation. Public Law 109-461 mandates the VA to consider a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. However, if response by Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms proves inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be determined. There is no anticipated sub-contracting opportunity for this procurement. Notice to potential offerors: All offerors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov before responding to any Government inquiry. Additionally, all Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses or Veteran Owned Businesses who plan to submit an offer must register with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Veterans Enterprise VetBiz Registry located at http://vip.vetbiz.gov.
