- SYNOPSIS Title: Clinical Coordination Support, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Fort Sam Houston (FSH) Product or Service Code: R799 NAICS Code: 541611 This is a preliminary pre-solicitation synopsis. THIS IS NOT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Fort Sam Houston (FSH), TX. intends to issue a non-personnel service solicitation to provide One (1) Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) personnel to provide clinical support for all services within the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC). The contractor shall provide the Government the following FTE personnel: •- 1 FTE - Clinical Coordinator must possess the educational and clinical knowledge of a senior nurse or senior allied health professional, and also the ability to operate in an executive level environment, working with military senior leadership and high ranking civilian executives in San Antonio and abroad. The contractor shall be required to maintain active credentials and/or licensures in their area of expertise/profession. The contractor shall have knowledge of instructional techniques and training methodologies in order to assist the METC Clinical Coordinator with the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of clinical training experiences; basic knowledge of computer equipment and the assigned area of system software; basic knowledge of different types of clinical placement tools for placement of students into medical treatment facilities, both military and civilian; and knowledge base of the requirements of Joint Commission requirements for healthcare facilities or other state or regulatory agencies. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541611 Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services with a small business size of $15,00,000.00. The applicable Federal Supply Code (FSC) is R799. The resulting contract will be a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside. The government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract as a result of this solicitation. The Government anticipates issuance of Solicitation (FA3016-18-R-0013) on or about 25 November 2017. The Period of Performance (POP) is Base Year and four (4) Option Years. Any information related to solicitation will be available only via the Government Point of Entry, Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Registration in the System for Award Management at www.sam.gov is mandatory in order for a contract to be awarded. NOTE: The government will not entertain questions regarding this acquisition until issuance of the solicitation
