The pre-solicitation conference will be held on Friday, 3 November 2017 between the hours of 9:00am to 4:30pm CST at the Tinker Business & Industrial Park, Conference Room A located at 2601 Liberty Parkway, Midwest City, OK U.S.A. 73110 phone number 405-733-4949. During this event, interested vendors will have opportunity to receive updated information on this. Interested parties can also sign up for a one-on-one session by appointment only, lasting NO MORE than 30 minutes. It is requested that questions be submitted in writing by 3:00pm CST 1 November 2017 to Ms. Carrie Williams at carrie.williams.7@us.af.mil and Ms. Kristi Hanna at kristi.hanna@us.af.mil. This event is intended to discuss the draft RFP and answer specific questions related to this requirement. Please review the draft and all attachments.\ Pre-Solicitation Conference: Registration will be conducted in advance. Interested participants in the pre-solicitation conference and/or one-on one session need to submit their request including Registration Form to Ms. Carrie Williams at carrie.williams.7@us.af.mil and Ms. Kristi Hanna at kristi.hanna@us.af.mil by 3:00pm CST on Wednesday, 1 November 2017. Registration is open to United States Government Agencies and their Contractors only. Attendees are required to identify their nationality and their positions within the company they represent. This is a no-fee event and seating is limited. Five attendees will be allowed, per Company CAGE code. An email confirmation will be sent upon receipt along with one-on-one appointment times. Late registration and "walk-in" requests will NOT be permitted. Attendees must present a CURRENT photo ID (driver's license, military ID, company ID or passport) matching the attendee information submitted via the Registration Form to gain entry into the event. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to permit sufficient time for check-in. This is an UNCLASSIFIED event; no clearances are required. General Information T his announcement is not a contract, not a formal Request For Proposal, not a promise to contract, nor a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The RFP and associated documents attached to this notice are a draft for industry review and comment. Questions should be limited to matters not involving classified and/or business proprietary matters. At any time after receipt of comments/questions, the Government reserves the right to contact respondents for further clarification of the submittal. Additionally, questions received from potential offerors and Government responses will be posted through FedBizOpps after this Pre-solicitation conference. Any additional updates and timelines will be posted through FedBizOpps. The Government is considering a 2 month transition period with 12 months of performance at Laughlin Air Force Base (LAFB) and the remaining contract performance at the contractor's facility for this requirement. Included in this draft RFP is the requirement to become a qualified source prior to award. The process to become a qualified source or for source approval is separate from any solicitation/proposal process for this specific requirement. There is a separate processing/review time and interested vendors are encouraged to contact the Tinker SASPO office (see link below for POC contact information) with any questions regarding processing/review times for source approval requests. Vendors that are interesting in becoming a qualified source for J85 I-level maintenance repair need to submit source approval requests and document packages through the process outlined in the link listed below.
