Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) intends to utilize a competitive award process under the Training Systems Contract (TSC) III Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for a technology refresh of the C-130T 2F107-1 Operational Flight Trainer (OFT) at Naval Air Station (NAS) Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base (JRB), Fort Worth, TX. The goal of this upgrade is to address technical obsolescence in the aging system ™s hardware and software. This requirement is anticipated to be set-aside for small business via the TSC III, LOT II contractors. The technical scope of this effort will include the implementation of the USMC Tactical Environment (TEn), Technical Directives, Remote Control Unit (RCU), After Action Review (AAR)/brief-debrief, the replacement of the Back Projection Screen (BPS) and the upgrade of Flight simulation, Motion Platform System, Electronic Servo Resolver Driver (ESRD) and Avionics System Improvement Program (ASIP), IOS displays, Circuit breakers, Power distribution, Trainee station, Computational system hardware, Host subsystem and Instructor Operator Station (IOS) subsystem using the device 2F176 Host and IOS software as software baseline, Centralized input/output (I/O) subsystem and Software Support Environment (SSE) subsystem. The device will be upgraded at NAS Fort Worth JRB with a projected handover to the Fleet prior to Q4 of FY20. Industry Day and Site Visit The Naval Air Warfare Center Training System Division (NAWCTSD) will host an Industry Day on the 30th and 31st of October 2017. The industry day will be held at Naval Air Station (NAS) Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base (JRB), TX at Building 1752 from 1300 - 1800 on Monday 30 October, and from 0730 - 1730 on Tuesday 31 October.
