Description
The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at the Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring the Line Items cited below for a multi-year non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) RequirementsType Contract for the purchase of replenishment spares for the F100 Metallic Aircraft Seal. Order Minimum Quantity - 25 Each. Order Maximum Quantity - 152 Each. This procurement is anticipated to be competitive. 1.Estimated Solicitation Issue Date & Estimated Closing/Response Date: 27 October 2017, Closes 27 November 2017 2.RFP#: FA8121-18-R-0001 3.PR#: FD2030-18-00066 4.Nomenclature/Noun: Seal, Metallic, Aircraft 5.INPUT NSN: PN: 2840-00-332-6767NZ 4022668 6.AMC: 1/C 7.Application(Engine or Air Craft): F100-220 Air Craft Engine 8.History: Last awarded FA8121-17-C-0023 awarded 3 August 2017. 9.Description: F100-220 Bearing Seal Seat. This item provides support to the rear side of the number three (#3) bearing package in the core rear compressor. Predominant material of manufacture is nickel alloy. The bearing seal seat is 5.535"L x 5.535"W x 0.4575"H and weighs 0.51lbs. 10.Total Line Item Quantity - Item 0001 USAF: Basic Period: BEQ: 120 each, Delivery: 7 each per month beginning 30 April 2018. Item 0002 USAF: Option Year I: BEQ: 97 each, Delivery: 7 each per month. Item 0003 USAF: Option Year II: BEQ: 86 each, Delivery: 7 each per month. 11.Destination: SW3211 12.Delivery Number 1: Required Delivery of 7 units on 30 April 2018. Early Delivery is acceptable. 13.Duration of Contract Period - Three (3) Years. 14.Set-Aside: Full and Open Competition. 15.Export Control: No 16.Qualification Requirements apply. Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this part from other than current source(s). 17.Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. 18.UID: Note to Contractor - If unit price exceeds $5,000 then UID requirements will apply. 19.Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation.
