- PLEASE NOTE: If you are viewing this notice on FedBizOpps, please use the following link to view the full posting (including files) on SPAWAR e- Commerce: https://go.usa.gov/xnCCe The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of the Navy Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS), the Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN) Program Office (PMW 205) desire to gauge the interest of NGEN-R potential offerors in touring select Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) Navy Network (ONE-Net) sites. The purpose of these visits would be to provide potential offerors with first-hand knowledge of the ONE-Net day-to-day IT Services environment. Site visits are tentatively scheduled as half- day tours of the ONE-Net Theater Network Operations and Security Centers (TNOSC) in Naples, Italy; and Yokosuka, Japan in the January to February 2018 timeframe. An additional site visit to Bahrain is being considered pending industry interest. At each site visit, a company will be permitted a maximum of three representatives, unless the response to this notice dictates a lower number in order to accommodate as many companies as possible. Please express your interest in participating in these tours, including the potential Bahrain visit, in an email to: NGEN_Recompete@navy.mil Any questions or suggestions you may have regarding these prospective tours may also be submitted in your email. Please address whether the time period planned for each tour (3.5 hours) is sufficient for you to gather the information needed to inform your proposal or if more time is required, please explain how much time is needed and what activities are needed to meet your desired outcome. Any Government response to your questions and any further information on the tours will be made available via the SPAWAR E-Commerce website. Responses are requested by 5:00pm EST, 20 Oct 2017. THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE ONLY. The sole purpose of this notice is to gauge NGEN-R potential offeror interest in touring select ONE-Net sites, in order to view NGEN-R sustainment operations first-hand. This notice is not a commitment by the Navy to provide these tours. If the Navy decides to provide any tours, all costs incurred or associated with the respondents participation will be solely at the expense of the respondent. Respondents are also advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in responding to this notice. This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. Further, the Navy is not at this time seeking proposals, unless otherwise posted on the SPAWAR E- Commerce website at: https://e- commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Not responding to this notice or participating in these tours, if they occur, will NOT preclude participation in any future RFPs, if any are issued. During the tours, if they occur, the Government will not discuss any active procurements or RFPs. It is the responsibility of the potential respondents to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this notice.
