- Draft Performance Work Statement 76 PMXG TF33 Rubber Burnout Heat-Treating Service NSNs: 2840-00-442-7112RV and 2840-01-167-9584 PNs: 633682 (P5/9/102) and 800225 (P103) This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis for TF33 Compressor Inlet Case Inlet Guide Vanes (IGV's) Rubber Burnout Heat Treatment Service for Tinker AFB, OK in support of the 76 th Propulsion Group. The following information is provided to assist the Air Force in conducting a Market Research of Industry to identify potential contractors for this effort. Please also note that this Sources Sought is directly related to this Qualification Requirements FBO posting: https://www.fbo.gov/spg/USAF/AFMC/OCALCCC/2840-00-442-7112-2840-01-167-9584_Oct17/listing.html. Air Force Sustainment Center, Maintenance Acquisition (PZIM) anticipates the award of a single contract. The purpose of the contract is to provide Tinker AFB OK, with rubber burnout heat-treating services to support mission requirements of the TF33 Compressor Inlet Case Inlet Guide Vanes (IGV's). The Contractor will be responsible for the quality control, and processing of components requiring heat treatments. There are currently 72 qualifying parts that need the rubber burnout heat treatment process. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to the Sources Sought request. The suggested North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 336412, which has a size standard of 1,500 employees. The Product Service Code is J028. The Government is interested in all businesses to include Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Small Businesses 8(a) s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Hub-zone Businesses, and Women-Owned Mall Businesses. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. The basis of this requirement is for the heat-treating rubber burnout of TF33 Inlet Guide Vanes. The contractor shall be compliant with all Federal, State, and Local laws concerning the burnout treatment process. The contractor must have systems in place for Quality Management, Deficiency Investigation, and Measuring and Test Equipment Calibration. The contractor must have furnaces equipped with operational Thermal Incinerators to deal with harmful effluents emitted from the burnout process. There must also be processes in place for handling ash to prevent operator exposure to cadmium and lead. Please see the accompanying draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for complete Contractor Requirements and Responsibilities.
