Description
INTERESTED PARTIES RESPONSE FORM FOR SOURCES SOUGHT FOR N4425518R5007 NAVY REGION NORTHWEST GUARD SERVICES This is a Sources Sought Synopsis only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. There is no bid package or solicitation. All responses will be provided in writing via e-mail. No presentations will be scheduled. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Northwest is seeking responses from firms with interest and current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform the work described below at various installations and facilities serviced by NAVFAC Northwest. The work shall be performed at various locations within the Area of Responsibility (AOR) of the Commander, Navy Region Northwest (CNRNW), which includes the states of Washington and Idaho. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561612, Security Guards and Patrol Services, with a Small Business Size Standard of $20.5 Million. The contract is planned as an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity services contract with recurring and non-recurring work. The planned action will be for a period of one base year and up to seven option years. The services to be provided by this planned contract are for separate geographic locations. Services in Washington at Naval Base Kitsap will be post services at entry control points (ECP's), Piers armed escorts and pass and ID services for a tenant commands. Services at Naval Magazine Indian Island will consist of ECP's and roving patrols. Services in Bayview, Idaho will consist of one ECP, and minimal roving patrol. Naval Base Kitsap (NBK). Naval Base Kitsap - Bangor is located two miles northwest of the city of Silverdale on the Hood Canal. It is comprised of 7,200 mostly forested acres. NBK Bangor contains administration, personnel support services, and various tenant commands. NBK Bangor supports utilities, berthing, messing, security, fire protection, etc., for the TRIDENT program and all tenant commands. Naval Magazine Indian Island, Port Hadlock, WA. The Indian Island Complex encompasses 2,716 acres and is located approximately 46 miles northwest of Bremerton near Port Hadlock, Jefferson County. Indian Island Complex contains administration, security, and a personnel support services and provides ordnance receipt, storage, issue, maintenance/overhaul, demilitarization, and disposal. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Acoustic Research Detachment, (ARD) Bayview, Idaho. The ARD encompasses approximately 18 acres and is located approximately 20 miles northeast of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The ARD Bayview complex contains administration, security, and a personnel support services. Interested businesses are invited to respond to this sources sought by completing and returning the response form provided with the announcement published on Federal Business Opportunities. Each responding firm is requested to provide one to three example projects which best demonstrate the company's experience relative to the types of work covered by this requirement. When completing the response form, please take the time to complete the form in its entirety so that NAVFAC NW can determine there are a sufficient number of firms interested in the solicitation. Within the narrative description section of the response form, describe the projects sufficiently to demonstrate your firm's experience with the types of work described in the work description above. Respondents will NOT be notified individually of the results of the sources sought. Please respond to this announcement by 2:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time, Tuesday, 31 October 2017 by submitting an e-mail with an attached electronic copy of your response to nettie.straub@navy.mil.
