Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs Muskogee VA Medical Center currently occupies 440 parking spaces at the Hatbox Parking location under Revocable license with the City of Muskogee OK. The current lease will be expiring. The Government intends to enter into a real property lease contract at 700 S. 40th street in Muskogee OK. to lease 440 parking spaces to be utilized as employee and Veterans parking. The lease term requirement is for five (5) years firm, five (0) years non-firm. The space must be available for occupancy by October 1, 2017. This procurement in being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS Code 812930 applies to this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, the Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the contracting officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the contracting specialist, Mark Pritchard, via email at mark.pritchard@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by 3:00pm, 25 September, 2017, the Department of Veterans Affairs will proceed to pursue a sole source acquisition.
