Description
The Guardian Angel (GA) members of the 212th Rescue Squadron are required to operate in the harshest climates on earth. Regularly conducting real world operations in arctic conditions while simultaneously training for, and deploying to, some of the hottest and driest parts of the world. Therefore, they require products that ensure operators are capable of surviving in extreme conditions where product failure can quite literally lead to loss of life. These products must have a proven track record of withstanding extreme arctic conditions (or desert, etc.) while also allowing for maximum comfort, function and performance of GA Operators. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All items below are brand name or equal. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside, NAICS 339112. 0001 - (8) EA; Blood and Fluid Warmer Brand Name or Equal: QinFlow The Warrior Modular System The Blood and Fluid Warmer device is intended for warming blood, blood products, and intravenous fluids prior to administration. Must have the following salient characteristics: - In-line blood and fluid warming. - System is positioned out of the patient's body between IV tubing and patient with a temperature set point of 380C ± 20C (100.40F ± 3.60F). - Provides both audio and visual notifications and alerts. - Capable of warming up to at least three liters of parenteral administrated fluid with an inlet temperature of 40C (39.20F). - Internal sensors constantly measuring fluid temps and adjusting power supplied to the heat exchanger accordingly. - Simple to operate: one button only; simple assembly; simple trouble-shooting; no calibration or maintenance. - High flow rates: 200/290 ml/min battery/AC. - Instantaneous results: warm fluids in a few seconds. - High fluid warming capacity: single battery will deliver 3-5 liters of warmed fluids (subject to fluids' temperature). - Free positioning: vertical or horizontal standing; mounting options; extension cord for the consumable part. - Power source flexibility: battery & AC. - Safe: advanced safety capabilities to identify reversed flow, air bubbles, or blockages. 0002 - (1) EA; Shipping to JBER, AK 99506 **Please include estimated shipping date with quote** Please include shipping directly to Anchorage AK 99506. This announcement constitutes the only written notice. Basis for award will be the best value to the Government. In accordance with FAR 52.212-2, the Government will award a contract/purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, lowest price technically acceptable.
