- Sole Source Justification The 176th Mission Support Contracting Office - JBER, AK intends to award a sole source procurement to Phillips Corporation, 7390 Coca Cola Drive, Ste 200, Hanover, MD 21076-1768, for a Haas UMC-750 CNC Vertical Milling Machine. The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Phillips Corporation is the only authorized distributor for Haas to sell to the Government. This is not a formal solicitation, nor is this synopsis considered a request for proposals or quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine if a comparable source or offerors are more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative response is received, the procurement will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A detailed capabilities statement must be submitted electronically to 176 MSG/MSC - Mission Support Contracting at 176contracting@us.af.mil, NO LATER THAN 25 Sep 2017 @ 12:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
