Description
The subject requirement is for the acquisition of NSNs 6140-01-266-1633 and 6140-01-498-2223 being bought to a Qualified Products List (QPL). The FSC for this requirement is: 6140. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a three-year base period and 2 option years is anticipated. The total duration shall not exceed 5 years. Full and Open Competition with exclusion of sources applies. Requirement is partially (50%) set-aside for small business. The solicitation will be available on Oct 2, 2017 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military or Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Product Lists and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available on Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at https://assist.dla.mil. Users may search for documents using the ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. The estimated annual quantity is 180 for NSN 6140-01-266-1633 and 490 for NSN 6140-01-498-2223. Quantity ranges and delivery schedule will be noted on the RFP. FOB Destination applies for both CLINs. Inspection/Acceptance requirements will be noted on RFP. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shall be considered. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
