- The Bureau of the Fiscal Service, on behalf of the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), intends to make an award on a sole source basis to American Towers L.P., 116 Huntington Ave STE 1100, Boston, MA 02116-5786, pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.302-1. The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) currently has two-way signal (repeater) equipment installed on towers owned by AMerican Tower L.P. located in Shaw Butte, AZ to maintain secure radio communication from one tower to another, virtually eliminating shadowing, fading, and dead spots. American Tower L.P. is the only responsible source with the ability to provide mission critical uninterrupted service at the tower locations where TIGTA's government owned equipment is currently located. Relocating the equipment requires down time causing undue hardship to TIGTA's mission and required 24/7 service to special agents. The intended period of performance for this requirement is November 2, 2017 through November 1, 2022. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information, or a copy of the solicitation, will not be considered an affirmative response to this Special Notice. Telephone responses or inquiries to this Special Notice will NOT be accepted. Responses to this request shall be submitted on or before 10:00 a.m. ET on September 28, 2017 by email to purchasing@fiscal.treasury.gov, referencing "SS-TIGTA-18-001-Attn: MGUMP/TAYERS. The following file extensions are not allowable and application materials/data submitted with these extensions cannot be considered:.bat,.cmd,.com,.exe,.pif,.rar,.scr,.vbs,.hta,.cpl, and.zip files. Microsoft Office compatible documents are acceptable. No other information regarding this Special Notice will be provided at this time. This notice does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. All vendors responding to this notice are advised that their response is not a request that will be considered for contract award. Responses will be shared with the federal government agencies as part of market research for fulfilling future similar requirements.
