- WDOL # 2015-5421 Larimer Cty FBO Solicitation in PDF format Solicitation The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) requires Grounds Maintenance Services. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation announcement for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Solicitation number 128KAP18Q0002 (See Attached Solicitation) is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-93 corrections. North American Classification Coded (NAICS) 561730, Landscaping Services, is applicable. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and applicable licenses and permits necessary to perform the following Services: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and applicable licenses and permits necessary to perform Grounds Maintenance: • Mowing and trimming (weekly, cutting height = 2.5"): grass clippings blown off sidewalk, walkways, including walkway leading from loading dock to trash/ recycle area • Shrub care for presentable presentation: seasonal replacement of dead, or dying plants, (supplies not included) • Tree Care: trimming and pruning with replacement of dead or dying trees (supplies not included) • Litter and leaf cleanup to include disposal • Turf grass care to include weed control in garden areas around main entry, as well as islands in southwest parking lot, and main building sign area. • Irrigation system startup and shutdown with maintenance to include replacement and repair of existing system. • Snow removal of all pathways into building to include parking lot, sidewalks, loading dock, and dumpster area when accumulation reaches 2" or more. *Additional services to be billed separately at the current SCA rate of $13.65 per labor hour, plus material costs. The Contractor will remove all grass clippings, branches, snow, etc. after each clean-up. Pricing should be written for one year with the option to renew on a yearly basis for 4 (four) additional years as follows: Base Year: 10/1/2017 - 9/30/2018 Option Year #1: 10/1/2018 - 9/30/2019 Option Year #2: 10/1/2019 - 9/30/2020 Option Year #3: 10/1/2020 - 9/30/2021 Option Year #4: 10/1/2021 - 9/30/2022 Please specify if billing will be Quarterly or Monthly in arrears. Delivery location is: U. S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service USDA-ARS-NPA-NLGRP, National Laboratory for Genetic Resources Preservation, 1111 S. Mason Street Fort Collins, CO 80521 The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract on September 22, 2017. As authorized by FAR 5.102, solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and the USDA/ARS will provide no hard copies. The successful company must mandatorily be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) at web site: www.sam.gov. PAYMENT: Any award made under this solicitation is subject to 31 CFR Part 208 which requires all payments made by the government to be made by electronic funds transfer.
