Description
This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size relative to NAICS 423450, Standard Size 200 Employees. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses are not considered responses to any potential solicitation announcement. Scope of Work Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) PMRS clinics need three (3) SCIFIT PRO2 with premium seats for the total body upper and lower extremity exercise. The vendor must also provide a service and maintenance agreement which will include adjusting, repairs, and replacing any malfunctioning equipment. Response to this notice should include a capability statement, and three (3) customer references to which you have provided similar services. All interested firms shall provide the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, capability statement, and business size pursuant to the NAICS Code 423450, Standard Size 200 Employees. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Jacqueline.Simpson3@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than Monday, August 18, 2017 at 10pm CST. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. Functional Statement Total Body Exercisers BACKGROUND: Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) PMRS clinics need of three (3) SCIFIT PRO2 with premium seats. This equipment is for the total body which includes the upper and lower extremity exercise. This equipment will allow for strengthening and endurance training for PMRS patients for both the upper and lower extremities. It allows for varying levels of resistance to progress patients through their rehab process. It also has the capability for patients to utilize from a wheelchair level. This equipment consists both upper and lower extremity ergometers that are utilized in a seated position. The user may be seated in the attached adjustable seat or in their own wheelchair via removing the attached seat. SCIFIT PRO2 ® Series Total Body Exerciser Upper extremity ergometer with adjustable cranks Lower extremity ergometer with adjustable cranks Adjustable step-through seat with adjustable height and depth 360-degree swivel seat Easily removable seat for wheelchair accessibility to UE and LE cranks Bi-directional resistance Digital display and adjustment screen User weight of at least 350 lbs. Self-generating power with auto recharge battery back up Electromagnetic self-generating bi directional resistance Work load: Manual, Fit Quik, Constant Workout, ISO-Strength, 7 Pre-programmed Hills profiles Heart Rate, Power Fit Test, Power Fit Training, Heart Fit Test, Heart Fit Training Stress Test and Random EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD: The LPTA evaluation process will be accomplished as follows: Technical Acceptability. Each offeror s technical quotations will be evaluated to determine if the offeror provides a sound, compliant approach that meets the requirements of the Government. The objective of the technical acceptability factor is to focus in on the go/no go assessment. Price Quotations: The offeror's Price quotations will be evaluated by CLIN Level and the offerors with the lowest overall Price will be ranked accordingly.
