- Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Offerors; Instructions, Conditions and Notices to Bidders; contract clauses. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quote in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Subpart 13.5-Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This synopsis/solicitation # W911YN-17-T-0044 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. No contract award will be made until appropriated funds are made available. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 effective as of 19 January 2017. NAICS code: The corresponding NAICS code for this solicitation is 332439 "Freight Containers" with a size standard of 500 employees. Corresponding Product Service Code is 8150. An Offeror must be registered on the System for Award Management (SAM - formerly known as CCR) before an award could be made to them. If a company is not registered in SAM, they must do so by going to SAM web site ( https://www.sam.gov ) and registering prior to being considered for award by the Government. This requirement is being advertised as an unrestricted requirement with Full and Open Competition. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. The Government intends to issue a single, firm fixed-price purchase order so long as quantities are available from a single contractor. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards. Delivery will be FOB Destination. All pricing quoted shall include delivery and offloading in the price of the item. Description of Requirement : DRY FREIGHT CONTAINER: STANDARD DIMENSIONS EXTERIOR 20' LENGTH X 8' WIDTH X 8' 6" HEIGHT; INTERIOR 19'3" X 7' 8 1/2" X 7' 10 1/8". CAPACITY/WEIGHT 1,120 CU. FT., 67,200 MAX GROS LBS. CONSTRUCTION: SEA/LAND CARGO CONTAINER, 14 GAUGE CORRUGATED STEEL SIDES, 14 GAUGE STEEL ROOF, 14 GAUGE LOCKING STEEL DOUBLE END SWING DOORS ON ONE END. 7 GAUGE STEEL END FRAMES, 1 1/8 IN. THICK MARINE WOOD FLOORS. THE UNITS MUST ENSURE ALL EQUIPMENT CAN BE SAFELY STORED FOR ACCOUNTABILITY WHILE PREVENTING ANY AND ALL WEATHER DAMAGE. ONE TIME USED CONTAINERS ARE NOT TO EXCEED ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF MANUFACTURE Delivery shall be within 90 days after date of contract unless a different delivery period is incorporated into the resulting purchase order/contract. 252.213-7000, Notice to Prospective Suppliers on the Use of Past Performance Information Retrieval System-Statistical Reporting in Past Performance Evaluations, in competitive solicitations for supplies when using FAR part 13 simplified acquisition procedures, including competitive solicitations using FAR part 12 procedures for the acquisition of commercial items and acquisitions valued at less than or equal to $1 million under the authority at FAR subpart 13.5. Basis for award. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible contractor (see FAR Part 9) whose quote represents the best value as determined through use of PPIRS-SR data. Instructions: Submission. Submit quotes through FBO.gov. Fill out the Line Item with pricing per item delivered. Upload additional information required. Submit representations and certifications required. Include with quote, 1) a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation.
