- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is VA257-17-Q-1377. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. The associated North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 511210 with a small business standard of $38.5M. This acquisition is solicited as a set-aside for small business. Network Contracting Office 17 requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: Period of performance: Base year with four (4) one year option periods. Statement of Work The contractor shall provide all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to provide ControlTex laundry/linen management software system to VA North Texas Health Care System. WORK TO BE PERFORMED Grant License to VA North Texas Healthcare System for web-based ControlTex software or equal. Provide onsite training to users. Provide 24x7 customer service support. Software Break Fix - Labor provided remotely. Onsite labor assistance provided Monday-Friday during normal business hours, excludes Federal and contractor Holidays. Remote applications support Monday - Friday during normal business 99.9% Software Guarantee. Software Obsolescence Protection. Minor Software Releases-Remote labor included. All services for this contract must meet manufacturer performance and technical specifications, Federal Regulations, and other specifications that may apply such as National Electric Code (NEC), Life Safety Code (LSC), Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), and VA Regulations. Contractor must provide the appropriate documentation in regards to the software at no additional expense. TEXTILE SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT Acceptable software must have the capability to: Evaluate inventory management process Store data for long period of time Record linen distribution activities to eliminate losses Capable of processing data Monitor and manage linen usage Track linen usage Manage Textile inventory Automatically Track laundry activities The software must feature current and previous period and year to date comparative reporting and auto-generated graphing; with flexibility of choosing the day, days, weeks, or months desired to monitor. Evaluate associated costs Web-based system The software shall include distribution point and facility billing reports, multiple system capabilities, perpetual inventory, flexible security, export and email features as well as on-screen viewing and graphs. The program shall support remote data collection. Requires no software installation or IT-Base server installation SPECIAL WORK REQUIREMENTS Hours: Services shall be performed during regular work hours for this facility, Monday through Friday 800am to 4:30pm (CST). The contractor shall not perform any service that will result in additional charges without prior approval from the Contracting Officer.
