Description

Special Notice Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 17, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a firm-fixed price task order against Data Innovations, LLC s General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule (GSA FSS) contract GS-35F-389DA for procurement of the following: Support and maintenance of Instrument Manager Instrument Manager Interface Connection Specimen Management Package Bi-Directional Integration License This will procurement will support the Data Innovations software and licenses currently being used in laboratories located at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, Texas 78229. The task order will be for one base year and four additional one year optional renewals. This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals or offers received will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received by September 12, 2017 at 11am from the publication of this notice, a task order will be issued to Data Innovations, LLC. without further notice. The anticipated statutory authority permitting limiting the source for the requirement is FAR 8.405 6(a)(1)(i)(B) - Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. Notice: the POC for this notice does not have a Federal Business Opportunities registration account. The POC does not have any visibility to the Interested Vendors List tab within the notice. Interested firms must respond directly to the POC email address listed in the notice for consideration.
