Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7 (Charleston, SC) intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed priced commercial item contract to Carefusion Solutions, LLC, to provide the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center with Alaris PC Units; Alaris Pump Modules and Guardrails Point-of-Care Software for Alaris PC Units. These pumps are used in the precise delivery of either continuous medication or medication at set periodic intervals. A sole source procurement will be issued to Carefusion Solutions, LLC, in accordance with FAR 13.501 Special Documentation Requirements, where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339113 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 750 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements and submit quotations by the closing date/time of this notice. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice are due on or before Tuesday, September 12, 2017 by 2:00 pm (Eastern) to: nochelle.elliott@va.gov.
