- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, 24 Frank Lloyd Wright Drive, Lobby M, Suite 2200, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, intends to solicit offers for Drug Compendia, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Intervention documentations, Ward Inspection and quality assurance equivalent to the Elsevier Clinical Pharmacology (ITEM MCP001L) subscription package for the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105. Contractors that can provide this requirement and meets the requirements below are requested to send their 1. Company Name, 2. DUNS number, 3. Business size under NAICS 511120 and 4. If the item(s) are available on a FSS contract or not and the FSS contract number if it is available on contract, 5. Notification if they are a VETBIZ registered VOSB/SDVOSB or not and their company size. This is not a solicitation. This is a Request for Information, Sources Sought. Scope of Work: Equal or exceeds the following: Improve patient care through the delivery of world class content and workflow tools. Elsevier can meet the needs of the clinicians and enhance our current MD consult subscription with the following components of Elsevier. These include Elsevier s drug compendia, Clinical Pharmacology and clinical intervention documentation, ward inspection and quality assurance. 1. Clinical Pharmacology is the primary drug information and medication management resource that is worldwide. a. It provides up-to-date, peer-reviewed, clinically-relevant information on all U.S. prescriptions drugs, as well as off-label uses and dosage, herbal supplements, nutritional and over-the-counter products and new and investigational drugs. b. Clinical Pharmacology Includes In-depth Drug Coverage and a Complete Array of Tools Designed to Boost Productivity and Enhance Patient Care, Monographs, Drug Class Overviews, Index search, Advanced Search, Drug Comparisons, Drug Interactions Report, Adverse Reactions Report, Trissel 2 iv Compatibility, Product Identification, Online Dosing Calculators, Product Comparison Utility, Patient Education, and Mobile Device Access. 2. Clinical Toxicology Information: (ToxED): this is an electronic clinical toxicology reference designed to address the need to quick access to concise and comprehensive information at the point-of-care for the diagnosis and treatment of poisonings, drug overdoses, and exposure to chemicals and hazardous waste. The ToxED reference includes: In-depth coverage as well Point-of-Care information, of specific poisons, drug overdoses, and chemical exposures in an actionable format; Information regarding emergency management of medical condition related to poisoning,drug overdose, or chemical exposures; vital insights into timely topics, such as biological warfare agents and the newest antidotes; full color images of plants, mushrooms, and poisonous animals to allow for easier identification; Drug Identifier tool for quick product identification of tablets and capsules based on marking /imprint, color and shape, with full-color digital images of actual drug products for visual verification; incorporation of over 1 million Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) allows for easy searching and access; Instant access to additional toxicological resources including the CDC, EPA, OSHA, and the National Library of Medicine; Link to access Clinical Pharmacology electronic drug information. 3. CLINICAL MEASURES: Gold Standard Clinical Intervention Documentation Solutions enables pharmacists to obtain a quantitative financial measure of clinical interventions and time spent maximizing the safety and efficacy of drug therapy through the use of efficient, detailed documentation and graphical reports. a.
