Description

Pressure Wash of Building GENERAL: The Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center (JCMVAMC) is requesting a company to complete a pressure wash of the entire front side of the main campus. Pressure wash outside of buildings #1 and #53. If you look at picture #1, picture #2, and picture #3 (below) as they depict the whole front of the main campus needing to be cleaned (identified as building #1 and #53). All surfaces shown within pictures #1, #2, and #3 will need to be cleaned. Pictures #4 and #5 show more detail of areas to be cleaned. Picture #1 (Building #1) Picture #2 (Building #1 connected to Building #53) Picture #3 (Northeast side of Building #53) Picture #4 Picture #5 2. SCOPE OF WORK: All surfaces shown in the above five pictures are to be pressure washed in a professional manner as to make all surfaces free of debris, clean looking (not to leave streaks where part of an area is clean and another not). The use of enzymes or chemicals is authorized to ensure a clean and professional appearing surface. All chemicals used (to include their MSDS sheets) must be presented to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) no less than 3 business days before use for approval. COR will respond within 24 hours as to the chemicals acceptance or not. Special attention must be given to the different surfaces of the buildings as some of the design aspects of the buildings (see pictures #4 and #5) are stucco and some are a special stucco like compound. Care must be given by the contractor to ensure the buildings and/or grounds around the facility are not damaged. Any damage will need to be fixed and returned to the original state of the building and grounds before work was started, at no extra cost to the VA Medical Center. Attention must be given to ensure minimal traffic or disruption to hospital s daily operations. Daily operations (except Federal holidays) are from 0800-1630 Monday - Friday. It is requested that this work be conducted during non-daily hours of operation to minimize risk and/or disruption of patients. All work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with all State of Oklahoma, Federal (to include VA), and OSHA Regulations and Safety requirements. Regulations must be strictly followed to ensure the safety of all VA patients/visitors, VA Staff, and all contractor employees. All services will be completed within 30 days of award of contract (30 days ARO). 3. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Jack C.
