Description
STATEMENT OF WORK TWELVE YEAR HALON FIRE BOTTLE INSPECTION BLDG 240, TRANSIENT ALERT 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to perform the twelve year inspections. Additionally, spot weld cracks and provide corrosion control on all fire bottle frames. The contractor shall provide the government with a designated point of contact and phone numbers to enable continuous contact during regular work hours. This work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1.1. Pick-up and delivery: T-Squared (Transient Alert contractor) will pick-up halon bottles in need of servicing from the Airfield Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) yard on Tinker AFB and deliver to Contractor for servicing. 1.2. Fire Bottles: Contractor is responsible for performing the Twelve year Inspections on all designated fire bottles requiring this periodic inspection. To include discussed corrosion control, painting and welding of frames as needed. Remove and replace additional parts as needed on designated bottles as well. 2. Coordination: Pick-up and delivery of the fire bottles will be coordinated with the Transient Alert QAE or T-Squared Contract Manager. Prior communication and scheduling of pick-up and delivery needs to be timely. 3. HOURS OF OPERATION: Transient Alert Operations is a 0800-2400, 7 days a week facility. The majority of employees and customers are present during normal working hours, Mon-Fri, 0800- 1600. Contractor should schedule pick-up during normal 0800-1600 operations. 4. GENERAL INFORMATION: 4.1. Physical security: Contractor shall be responsible for safeguarding all Transient Alert Fire Bottles in their possession. Contractor shall be responsible for safeguarding property and securing at the close of their work period. Security police/security requirements: The government will provide general on-base Security Police service. Security Police telephone extension is 911 for emergencies and 734- 3737 for non-emergencies. 4.2. The contractor shall provide the names of all personnel requiring entry authorization to Tinker AFB (if any). The contractor and/or representatives must have a valid driver's license and car insurance verification. The following information is necessary to coordinate base entry authorization: Company name Full name of contractor Contact number Estimated start/completion time 5. WARRANTY: The contractor shall provide a one year warranty on the all work accomplished for the fire bottle inspections, parts and labor. For a period of one year from the acceptance date, the contractor shall fix or replace any product that is recognized as having a defect due to services performed in the inspection. Contractor shall not be responsible to replace parts that are damaged or broken as a result of unreasonable use by the customer.
