- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of large businesses and small businesses, to include VIP-Verified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) prospective contractors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing). The Cardiac Blood Pressure Monitor is known to meet the Government s needs. The Government is requesting that responsible Large and Small Businesses, including SDVOSB and VOSB sources respond if it can provide the following items on a brand name or equal basis: Line Item No. Description Qty Unit 0001 12S-B SUN TECH TANGO M2/ CARDIAC BLODD PRESSURE MONITOR 1 EA Salient Characteristics (TANGO M2 System for GE CASE or EQUAL): Sun Tech Tango M2 is a cardiac blood pressure monitor used during stress testing. Cardio tech needs a reliable blood pressure monitor that allows her to focus on the patient during testing. When adjusting the treadmill steepness of slope and increasing the speed, the BP monitor needs to have the ability to overcome the noise and motion associated with cardiac exercise testing. BP monitor needs to be: 1. Repeated automatic BP measurements 2. Capability to monitor BP during the changing steepness and speed of the treadmill 3. Initiate patient readings during the changing levels of stress testing 4. Ability to monitor non-exercise BP 5. A digital algorithm for first & second heart sounds 6. Ability to measure systolic & diastolic cuff pressures BP monitor sizes needs to be: 1. Less than 12 X 12 in dimension 2. Weight size less than 5lbs for arm mounting BP monitor is compatible with the GE Case stress equipment (treadmill) used in the cardiology lab. Interested vendors are required to submit an e-mail delineating: Qualifications, capabilities, and experience for providing this product; Business size/Socioeconomic status; If the product is on the Federal Supply Schedule or the Open Market; and Memo or correspondence which authorizes distributor to distribute the manufacturer s products. This is not a Request for Quote/Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs must be registered and verified in VIP for consideration. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339112 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Jamila Nicholas at jamila.nicholas2@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 4:00pm Central Standard Time on Tuesday, August 28, 2017.
