- Description
- 8/15/2017 Statement of Work. Final Version. 8/15/2017 AMENDMENT: The purpose of this amendment is to provide updated answers to all questions received from interested vendors relating to this solicitation, and provide an updated Statement of Work to incorporate corrections. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EQUIPMENT LIST HAS BEEN CONSOLIDATED TO DELETE DUPLICATE ENTRIES, SO THE ITEM NUMBERS POSTED WITH THE 8/15/2017 VERSION OF THE SOW ATTACHED TO THIS RFQ AMENDMENT ARE DIFFERENT THAN THOSE ASSOCIATED WITH THE ORIGINAL 8/4/2017 SOW, WHICH IS NO LONGER APPLICABLE. THE ATTACHED SOW DATED 8/15/2017 IS THE PREVAILING SOW. Additional Question: The instrument list includes duplicates for the first 10 systems. For example, the serial numbers for system 1 and 2 are the same; the serial numbers for systems 3 and 4 are the same, etc. Are these duplicate serial numbers a data entry error? I want to confirm that there are 10 systems here and not 5 systems. If this is the case, could you provide the correct serial numbers for the other 5 systems? Also could you provide the models number for the modules as well? Answer: The SOW has been updated to eliminate duplicate entries and update the Appendices. The answers provided below are officially incorporated into the solicitation. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged. 1. Is there a previous contract for this equipment? If so, can you provide the contract number? Answer: Items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9 have not been on a service contract before and are currently up and running. Items 8 and 9 have not been on a service contract, are currently running, but linearity is currently an issue. For Items 6 and 7 (US10430015 and US42520749), there was a previous contract from two years ago on this older GC/MS system, but not last year (i.e., service was discontinued effective 9/30/2016). The contract number from two years ago was #SB1341-15-CN-0061. 2. Who was the awarded vendor? Answer: Full Spectrum Analytics 3. What was the cost of the last year's contract and is this the same equipment as last year's contract? Answer: The only equipment included in this requirement which has ever been under contract, Items 6 and 7, was under contract for the period of 9/30/2015 through 9/29/2016, and removed from the contract upon exercise of last year's contract. As such, there are no maintenance costs associated with this equipment for "last year." 4. Is the contract available for viewing? Answer: Contract SB1341-15-CN-0061 was awarded for the maintenance of approximately 24 pieces of equipment, two of which are covered under the subject solicitation. The other instruments under this solicitation are not related to SB1341-15-CN-0061 in any way. This contract did not include line item pricing on a "per instrument" basis. Additionally, key components of SB1341-15-CN-0061 differ significantly from the subject effort, such as contract type and nature of services provided. As such, releasing this contract in its entirety is not anticipated to be necessary, or to assist vendors in any meaningful way in submitting quotes in response to this solicitation. If vendors still desire to receive the contract, they should submit a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Please note that business proprietary information, such as cost information from the awarded proposal, would be redacted in accordance with FOIA Exemption 4, should such a request be received. 5. Is there a service/repair history report available? Answer: A service/repair history report is not available. 6. Is all the equipment up and running? Answer: All of the equipment is up and running, however, Items 8/9 are currently experiencing minor performance issues relating to linearity.
