- B258 FACP - 6 B258 FACP - 5 B258 FACP - 4 B258 FACP - 3 B258 FACP - 2 B258 FACP - 1 THIS REQUIREMENT IS FOR REPAIRS TO THE BASE FIRE SYSTEMS AT THE 171ST ARW IN CORAOPOLIS (PITTSBURGH), PA. INSTRUCTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS: 1) ALL ITEMS ARE REQUIRED TO BE IN NEW CONDITION. REFURBISHED, USED, AND OTHER-THAN-NEW ITEMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 2) THIS RFQ IS BEING CONDUCTED ON A LOWEST-PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE (LPTA) BASIS. 3) INTERESTED VENDORS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGMENT (SAM) IN ORDER TO BE AWARDED. IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED IN SAM, PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR ASSISTANCE. (REF: FAR 52.232-33). 4) THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. VENDORS MUST BE A SMALL BUSINESS UNDER THE SIZE STANDARDS OF NAICS CODE 238290. VENDORS NEED NOT BE REGISTERED UNDER 238290, HOWEVER THEY MUST BE UNDER THE APPLICABLE SIZE STANDARD (FAR 52.219-6). 5) NAICS SIZE STANDARDS: https://www.sba.gov/contracting/getting-started-contractor/make-sure-you-meet-sba-size-standards/table-small-business-size-standards 6) VENDORS WILL BE PAID VIA WIDE-AREA WORKFLOW/ IRAPT. Q&A's Posted 15 August 2017: Building 320 1. What type of pipe, Schedule 40 or schedule 10? Both were found in the building. Replacement pipe should be same as existing. 2. How much pipe should we allow for if we don't know what is leaking? Is there a set allowance (footage)? There is no set allowance, pipe replacement will be dependent upon what is actually leaking. 3. Are there any safety requirements or training on site required? No on-site training, contractor is required to follow all OSHA requirements. 4. Will this hanger be empty for this scheduled work or is there a chance we may be asked to reschedule this building? This will change the cost of the lift rental. Lift rental will need to be scheduled and arrive in coordination with hangar availability. 5. Is the pipe required to be painted? No Building 258 (Johnstown) 1. Is access to this facility the same as Pittsburgh? Yes 2. Please provide photos & model / manufacturer of FACP. Contracting to take care of this tasking. Model / Mfr of Bldg 258 FACP: Simplex 4005 (see pictures for S/N and other info) Pictures have been posted on same FBO Amendment as these Q&A's. Fire Hose Testing 1. Will the hose be removed from the cabinets? No, vendor will accomplish this. 2. Will we be responsible for removal of the hose and re-racking? Yes 3. We perform these tests at our facility. Is that ok? Yes
