THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE BUT RATHER, NOTIFICATION OF A NEXT GENERATION CONSOLIDATED AUTOMATED SUPPORT SYSTEM (CASS) ELECTRO-OPTIC (EO) INFORMATION PRESENTATION. The Naval Air Systems Command Aviation Support Equipment Program Office (PMA260) is hosting a Next Generation CASS EO information presentation in conjunction with the AUTOTESTCON event at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center located in Schaumburg, Illinois. The CASS (Family of Testers) is comprised of Automatic Test Equipment systems that provide automated test and diagnostic capabilities to enable avionics component repair. The EO console is hosted by the CASS ATE to facilitate testing and repair of EO peculiar assets. The purpose of the information presentation is to provide industry partners with insight regarding an initiative to replace existing U.S. Navy Third Generation Electro-Optical (EO3) consoles with a modernized version, commonly referred to as the Fourth Generation EO (EO4). 2. At 1300 on 14 September 2017, the Government will provide a presentation that outlines the preliminary strategy and general timeline for the EO4 program. The presentation will be held in an AUTOTESTCON conference room, after which the Government will conduct a question and answer period. Specifics regarding the conference room location may be obtained at the AUTOTESTCON welcome desk. To alleviate seating constraints, please limit attendance to no more than five persons per organization. Questions that cannot be immediately answered may be emailed to Jeff Llewellyn at jeffrey.llewellyn@navy.mil and/or Tony Geneva at anthony.geneva@navy.mil within five working days. PMA260 will review emailed questions and subsequently provide responses via FedBizOps. Directions to the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center are available on the 2017 AUTOTESTCON webpage at http://2017.autotestcon.com/hotel. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.
