Description
The following tasks are required to complete the objectives of establishing, maturing, and operationalizing the Next Generation Program Management Office: Conduct PMO Assessment, Develop Roadmap, and Operationalize PMO -Completion of year 4 of the Roadmap resulting in an operationalized PMO along the four levels of maturity. Develop processes, procedures, standards, and metrics to support PMO - Develop internal metrics to measure effectiveness of PMO services to the project/program management community and to ensure alignment with PMO's roles and responsibilities. - Identify key performance indicators (KPIs)/trends in project and program data to assist PMs and PgMs - Establish standards for roadmaps, quad charts, dashboards - Establish standardized reporting requirements and views of MS Project Online data to ensure data is accurately represented to enable sound decision-making. - Develop processes to gather quality project and program health data - Develop an Inventory of IT Program and Project Resources in MS Project On-Line - Document process for keeping project and program inventory data current. - Define and execute "Quality Control" tasks to improve quality of ITSLCM managed programs and projects. - Develop PMO's standards Develop, update, and conduct training and communications - Develop & populate CoE content (Project lessons learned; Sample "best of breed" artifacts; best practice articles, collaboration space to dialog and share knowledge, etc.) - Develop ITSLCM related brochures, graphical visualizations, communications and marketing materials. - Develop ITSLCM training artifacts in different mediums for consumption by appropriate audiences - Develop training resources in appropriate on-line repositories such as SharePoint, PBGC learning management system of record, etc. - Develop ITSLCM on-line Roles-Based training modules - Develop and execute a process for reviewing project managers' lessons learned repositories for potential inclusion in best practices library
