- Redacted Justification & Approval Request for Quote (RFQ) W912NW-17-T-0067 Corpus Christi Army Depot Contracting Office Army Contracting Command-Redstone (CCAM-ALC) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Mid-Coast Electric Supply, Inc. of San Antonio, Texas under the authority of Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5, only one responsible source and no other supply or service can satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is to upgrade nineteen (19) Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). The requirement is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. The solicitation number for this requirement is W912NW-17-T-0067 and is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Circulars Defense Acquisition are included in the attached solicitation. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334513 and has a standard size of 750. The Government will consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this combined synopsis/solicitation. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
