- The Department of Veterans Affairs, herein known as VA Medical Center in West Haven Connecticut is looking to acquire services for the placement and weekly cleaning and replacement of 23 Carpet/Mats throughout the facility. The proposed procurement is unrestricted The NACIS code is 812320 with a size standard of $ 5.5 Million This procurement is being conducted as a commercial item, using FAR part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items (SAP-CI). It is anticipated that the solicitation for this requirement will be posted in July 2017. Interest parties are solely responsible for monitoring of the below mentioned website for postings of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. It is anticipated The Department of Veterans Affairs will solicit a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type, contract. The anticipated performance period is 01 September 2017 through 31 July 2018, with four, one-year option periods. Interested vendors will be required to submit a price and non-price (technical) proposal. The evaluation for contract award will consider the non-price technical proposal of the submission to be more important than price. Additional information for this requirement will be listed in the solicitation upon its release, which is anticipated to be in September 2017, to Federal Business Opportunities FBO.gov. Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov) in order to be considered for award. The solicitation posting date is tentative and subject to change.
