Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The James A. Haley VA Hospital requires six (6) EKA Village 8 (or EQUAL) Club Cars to be used for patient transport. Substitute vehicles must meet or exceed salient characteristics (see Attachment B). Please provide technical specifications and brochure/pictures of your EQUAL model. Customer may request test drive of EQUAL model. The successful contractor shall provide training manual(s). The successful contractor shall provide customer support and provide replacement parts to the VA in a timely manner. The Government intends to award a firm fixed contract. This solicitation will be 100% set-aside for service disabled veteran-owned small businesses. All quoters shall be certified in VIP and have a current registration in SAM. A comparative evaluation shall be made on all quotes received against the following factors: functionality and specifications relative to the salient characteristics and technical specifications, delivery date, price, duration of inclusive warranty, and test drive (if applicable). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-94, 2005-95, effective 01/19/2017 (see Attachment C). The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 336999, size standard 1000 employees. The non-manufacturer rule does not apply.
