- Description
- This Presolicitation Notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This Presolicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the United States Air Force (USAF) is not seeking proposals at this time, and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the United States (US) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Presolicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Presolicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to this Presolicitation Notice does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract. The USAF Air Force Lifecycle Management Center, Fighter Bomber Directorate (AFLCMC/WW) has partnered with United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Program Executive Office-Fixed Wing (PEO-FW) to pursue Special Operations Forces (SOF)-peculiar advancements in platform-agnostic Light Attack aircraft technologies relevant to a potential future SOF light attack mission and/or emerging Light Attack platforms. AFLCMC/WW intends to issue an open BAA with a two-step closed call process to solicit responses for specific technological areas of interest. Note, this effort is separate and distinct from the on-going Light Attack Experiment or any other Light Attack projects. This effort should not conflict with or be confused with any other Light Attack aircraft program or effort.
