Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 12, VA Great Lakes Health Care System, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to solicit from only one source, GE Medical Systems Information Technology, 9900 Innovation Dr, Wauwatosa, WI, 53226 for the procurement of a support services to upgrade the existing GE Muse Cardiology System from V8 to V9. This will include training on site, the addition of ADT interfaces for each site and a orders-results interface for one site. Also included is support for Go-Live, after hours. The planned period of performance is September 1, 2017 to August 31, 2018. NAICS code 541519 applies. This special notice of intent to sole source is not a solicitation or a request for quotations. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government and must include a capabilities statement clearly demonstrating that the interested vendor is capable of fully completing these services. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 pm CST on August 3, 2017. Responses must be directed to the Contracting Officer at Jaclyn.alverson@va.gov with the subject line referencing this FBO special notice.
