- Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, James J. Peter VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2 is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of correcting Medical Gas System deficiencies found during an annual Medical Gas Inspection at the James J. Peter VA Medical Center. The contractor shall be responsible for but not limited to: Repair 21 leaking outlets/inlets by rebuilding/replacing primary check values Repair 17 leaking outlet/inlets by rebuilding secondary check valves Replace 16 broken outlet/inlets front assembly Supply master alarm panel #A2ADR-U-0AV2MM Installation and termination of new master alarm in Boiler Plant Verify and relabel areas controlled by zone values where current labeling is incorrect Replace inaccurate zone valve gauge Verify two sets of valves control and cover service valves with locking door Verify which valves control patient terminals in ER that is not currently indicated as being controlled by any zone valve Replacement module for Amico A2A Medical Air alarm outside 2A-10J Verify areas monitored by area alarm and label area alarm accordingly Recommissioning and relabeling alarms as not in use, The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 332911 (Industrial Valve Manufacturing) and the standard size is 750 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is J048 (Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment Valves. All responses to this notice must be submitting in writing (email: charnell.cunningham@va.gov) and must be received not later than August 4, 2017 at 10:00AM EST. Interested parties shall provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time may not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, women owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 332911. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced separately and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
