Description

SYNOPSIS - NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD AS SOLE SOURCE The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Combat Support Systems (CSS), Quantico, VA intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Award is anticipated to be made on or about 31 July 2017 to Aeroflex Wichita, Inc. (Cobham AvComm), 10200 West York Street, Wichita, KS 67215-8935. The proposed contract action is to procure hardware obsolescence kits required by the Marine Corps to mitigate current hardware obsolescence of the AN/USM-718A Ground Radio Maintenance Automatic Test System (GRMATS). This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which, if received within five calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by MCSC. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
