- This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential procurement sources. This Sources Sought is to notify companies that the U. S. Air Force, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, is seeking sources for new procurement of the following: Circuit card assembly to support F16 Aircraft, 5998-01-565-7854 HY (New Procurement) The contractor shall be capable of furnishing all required labor, material, facilities and equipment to accomplish manufacture, test, preservation and packaging, and ship to the government a completely serviceable unit at the unit prices established at the time of a contract award, the items of Air Force equipment listed below. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is to identify potential sources and if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis for market research purposes ONLY. The Air Force Sustainment Center or LCMC at Tinker AFB is requesting information for the procurement of NSN 5998-01-565-7854 HY to determine available sources for the items listed below under "Pending/Tentative Program Requirements". NO solicitation is available at this time. This Sources Sought Synopsis is open to all types of businesses including small businesses. The information in this notice is based on current information available to date. This information is subject to change and is not binding to the Government. Any updated information will be provided in future announcements, if applicable and posted electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. Contractors not responding to this Sources Sought will not be precluded from participation in any future solicitation, if issued. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 336413 which have a corresponding Size Standard of 1250 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all businesses to include, Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a)s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. The Government request that interested parties respond to this notice, if applicable, and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Tentative Program Requirements: Contractor will be responsible for supply chain management, logistics, forecasting of parts, long-lead parts procurement, reparable forecasting, obsolescence issues and delivery of serviceable assets. The specific Program Requirement for this effort is found in the table below.
