- DRAFT SOW The Air Force Test Center (AFTC) located at Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking potential sources capable of testing and repairing all portable fire extinguishers utilized at Edwards AFB, CA and IAW the attached Statement of Work. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, tools, vehicles, supplies, materials, equipment and labor necessary to test and repair fire extinguishers, in accordance with federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations. All work shall comply with government and commercial standards, whichever is more stringent. The contractor shall be required to pick up and deliver the fire extinguishers at Edwards AFB, CA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 811310. Please indicate you firm's small business status. Contract award is estimated to take place October 2017. This Sources Sought constitutes one form of early industry involvement and the Government requests industry recommendations, opinions, and feedback. This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for for bids/proposals. Responses will assist the Government in determining whether to set aside or restrict competition in some way or solicit offers from all responsible sources. All interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing the complete information describing their capability and qualifications to provide the aforementioned support services. Please include your company name, point of contact, address, telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Unique Numbering System (DUNS), Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this announcement. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract.
