Description
SPRWA1-17-R-0057 This requirement will be solicited on a sole source basis to Goodrich Corporation (Cage Code 3HRL4), the OEM. A written RFP will be issued. The anticipated Date of Award is Nov 30, 2017. The resulting award will be a new long term IDIQ Type Contract. This requirement is for the acquisition of 1 spare part in support of the UH-1N Helicopter as follows: NOUN: Rescue Hoists, NSN: 1730-01-474-1646GA, P/N: 42305-3 for the UH-1N Helicopter. 0001 : NSN 1730-01-474-1646GA, Part Number: 42305-3, Noun: Internal Rescue Hoist. TOD: 13C1-40-1, End Item: UH-1N Helicopter, Length: 35.38 Ins., Width: 12.5 Ins., Height: 51.91 Ins., Weight: 168 Lbs., Predominant Material of Manufacture: Various Materials, Form/Fit/Function Description: To hoist people into the helicopter. Required Quantities are as follows for each ordering period: Ordering Period I: 5 Each, Ordering Period II: 2 - 4 Each, Ordering Period III: 2 - 4 Each, Ordering Period IV: 2 - 4 Each, Ordering Period V: 2 - 4 Each. Estimated Delivery: 180 Calendar days after award; Ship To: SW3119; F.O.B: Origin; Inspection and Acceptance: Origin. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered as ongoing market research by the agency. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and/or ongoing market research.
