- High speed internet service for Astrogeology Science IGF::OT::IGF High Speed Internet upgrade requirement has changed due to budgetary constraints. The U.S. Geological Survey, Astrogeology Science Center (Flagstaff, AZ) has a requirement for high-speed internet service. We are seeking fixed wireless solution for high-speed internet to provide at minimum 300 Mb/sec dedicated service for one year. The Statement of Objectives and additional specifications will be identified in the forthcoming solicitation. The Request for Quotation (RFQ), number G17PS00807, will be made available through the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 5.102(a)(1), on or about July 28, 2017. The Government anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. Please contact the Contracting Officer, in writing, by email at cciccarelli@usgs.gov, with any questions. This notice and any resulting solicitation or contract conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 2005-95, effective 19 Jan 2017. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 517312 (previously NAICS 517210), Wireless Telecommunications Carriers (except satellite), and the size standard in number of employees is 1500.
