Description
AMIC Det 2, OL/PKA, Patrick AFB, FL intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract for 48 Cell Data Backup Sensor Enclosure Assemblies, Part: Cell Back-Up Comm - Enclosure Assembly. The contract will be awarded to Betatron Electronics, Inc. Market research was previously conducted and it has been determined that this is a sole source requirement IAW FAR 6.302-1. This requirement is not considered commercial in nature and any resultant contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 15.2. The contract delivery will be ten (10) weeks from the date of award. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541990 (All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services), and the size standard is $15M. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the required services within fourteen (14) days of issuance of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on the responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman is applicable. Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the Contracting Officer for resolution. If resolution cannot be made by the Contracting Officer, the interested party may contact the ombudsman, Lt Col Lateef M.
