Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, Maryland intends to negotiate and award a sole source Delivery Order contract with Raytheon Company Space and Airborne Systems, 2501 West University Drive, McKinney, Texas 75071. This procurement includes up to 26 FLIR kits to support CH-53K Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) aircraft and other efforts related to the FLIR kits; System Development (SDD) ground and flight test support, parts obsolescence analysis, engineering change proposal (ECP) implementation, repair analysis, and repair of repairables. This follow-on contract is for the continued procurement of highly specialized equipment from Raytheon Company, the original designer, developer, and equipment manufacturer of the FLIR kits. This action will be awarded on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company Space and Airborne Systems. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S Code 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSAL. Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded.
