- Description
- The National Park Service intends to issue a solicitation for renovating restrooms at Catoctin Mountain Park, headquartered in Thurmont, MD. Work will consist of removing and replacing all existing fixtures, plumbing, wall coverings and floor coverings in two centralized restrooms in camp dormitory. A detailed Statement of Work and specification will be provided with final solicitation documents. The Solicitation No. is P17PS02217. Project Magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. One (1) firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. Davis Bacon construction wage determination for Frederick County, MD will apply. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with an SBA size standard of $36.5 million. This will be a Small Business Set-Aside. A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance. The official Request for Quotation (RFQ) and its attachments will be issued and available on August 9, 2017, and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) at https://www.fbo.gov and FedConnect at https://www.fedconnect.net. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. In order to be awarded a contract an offeror must have a DUNS number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications,.
